The Austin Business Journal has published an article highlighting the newest hire to Texas-based RF Code, former Silicon Labs executive Dr. Peter Vancorenland. From the article:
RF Code replaces C-suite exec with Silicon Labs veteran
RF Code Inc., which creates software for data centers, has appointed long-time Silicon Laboratories Inc. engineer Peter Vancorenland as its new chief technology officer.
Vancorenland was previously the vice president of internet-of-things engineering at Silicon Labs (Nasdaq: SLAB), the Austin semiconductor maker where he held several engineering positions since 2002, according to his online profile. He replaces nine-year CTO Mike Primm, who departed RF Code in April and is now principal engineer for Austin’s Cray Inc.
Vancorenland holds 23 patents in a range of technical fields, an RF Code statement indicates.
Austin-based RF Code, which was founded in 1997, develops internet-of-things software for data center, health care, industrial logistics and supply chain companies. It employs 55 workers.
