Hurricane Electric has added another IP customer as a start to this week. Djibouti Telecom has hooked up with HE’s backbone at two key global PoPs at Equinix and Global Switch facilities in Singapore. Three months ago, HE extended its own backbone into Djibouti itself as part of a push into the Middle East and Africa. It’s not a stretch to think that this has opened up some new doors in terms of relationships with the region’s providers.
