ColoGuard Enterprise Solutions LLC, Brooklyn’s only data center, announced it has acquired data center space in Jersey City.
The 10,000 square feet of space in Jersey City is the latest step in the company’s expansion. It currently has a total footprint of 60,000 square feet.
With the recent addition, ColocationGuard customers will have access to connectivity options from providers including Lightower Fiber Networks and Zayo.
“ColocationGuard’s expansion into northern New Jersey is based on feedback received from businesses in a variety of industries, including internet carriers, health care and financial services, and will provide data center customers with a direct path to New York,” Ray Sidler, CEO, ColoGuard Enterprise, said in a prepared statement. “Whether looking to increase their disaster recovery capabilities or utilize additional colocation options, customers in northern New Jersey now have the bandwidth necessary to remain ahead in the marketplace.”
