Purkay Labs’ CEO Indra Purkayastha to speak at AFCOM Symposium Boston

Panel discussion to explore current methods of cooling the modern data center

Foxborough, MA – June 13, 2014 – Purkay Labs, the leading provider of portable air quality monitors for data centers and other mission critical facilities, announced today that its founder and CEO, Indra Purkayastha, will be a featured panelist in a discussion centered around data center cooling at the AFCOM Symposium Boston, on June 18th, 2014.

The panel discussion, titled 4A – Cooling! What’s All the Heat About? is scheduled for June 18th  from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Indra Purkayastha will be exploring topics such as OEMs, ASHRAE TC9.9, internal budget constraints, new green technologies, and how the modern data center can make sense of the multitude of cooling solutions available today. A former GE and iRobot executive, Mr. Purkayastha brings nearly 40 years of experience in product development to his work in temperature and humidity monitors for mission critical facilities.

Mr. Purkayastha will join four other experts in the field, including representatives from Integrated Design Group, IBM Global Engineering and Construction, Siemens, and Mestex during the panel discussion. The inaugural AFCOM Symposium Boston will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.
