New Location will provide customers in Hungary with reliable and cost-effective connectivity options
BUDAPEST, Hungary & FREMONT, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone and a leading colocation provider, today announced that it has established a new Point-of-Presence (PoP) at CE Colo located at Victor Hugo u. 18-22, Budapest, Hungary.

The new PoP will offer customers of CE Colo Internet access to Hurricane Electric’s vast IPv4 and IPv6 network through 10GE (10 gigabit Ethernet), GigE (1 gigabit Ethernet) and 100BaseT network connections. Additionally, this new PoP will provide customers in Budapest with improved fault tolerance, load balancing and congestion management in the delivery of next generation IP connectivity services. The new PoP is also connected to the Budapest Internet Exchange (BIX.hu), further improving connectivity and redundancy, and providing new peering opportunties.
