Leading data center industry publication, Mission Critical, recently featured Future Facilities for their announcement of a new seminar. From the article:

Future Facilitiesand No Limits Softwarehave announced that they have teamed up on a seminar to help data center and IT managers get a handle on data center power and cooling capacity.

The seminar, titled The Data Center Capacity Challenge: Are You Stranding Too Much Power Capacity in Your Data Center? will be held on Tuesday, July 30th at 8 a.m., at Hurricane Electric’s Fremont 2 Data Center.

Moderated by noted IT and Utilities consultant Mark Bramfitt, the interactive seminar will feature demonstrations on how to create a virtual test facility that predicts and visualizes the outcome of power and cooling decisions before critical IT equipment is installed. The seminar’s end-user panel will provide guidance on using DCIM to optimize the configuration and layout of network servers, power distribution units and associated cooling systems to plan for future growth and avoid stranding power capacity. Speakers include Sherman Ikemoto, Director, Future Facilities North America and Dave Cole, President of No Limits Software, as well as a number of local end-users that have successfully implemented DCIM solutions.

After enjoying breakfast and the educational presentations, attendees will have the chance to tour Hurricane Electric’s 200,000-sq-ft data center.
