Third PoP this month for leading global Internet backbone will give customers of Telx’s 8th Avenue Data Center access to leading global IP network

NEW YORK & FREMONT, Calif.–()–Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone and a leading colocation provider, today announced its fifth Point-of-Presence (PoP) in New York at Telx’s data center located at 111 8th Avenue, New York, NY.

The new PoP will provide high speed IPv4 and IPv6 Internet connectivity through Hurricane Electric’s global IP network with 100GE (100 gigabit Ethernet), 10GE (10 gigabit Ethernet), GigE (1 gigabit Ethernet) and 100Base-T network connections. The connectivity options will provide Telx customers with reduced latency and router hops, as well improved fault tolerance.
