Upsite Technologies Founder Ken Brill to Receive First Ever Lifetime Achievement Award from 7×24 Exchange International

At a ceremony during next week’s 7×24 Exchange International conference, data center pioneer, 7X24 Exchange co-founder and Uptime Institute founder Ken Brill will be recognized for his many years of leadership and innovation in the data center space.

BOCA RATON, Fla.–()–Upsite Technologies, Inc., a leader in data center airflow management solutions, today announced that its founder, Kenneth G. Brill, will receive the first ever 7×24 Exchange International Lifetime Achievement Award during 7×24 Exchange’s next annual conference, which will occur June 2-5 in Boca Raton, Florida.

Kenneth Brill founded both Upsite Technologies and the Uptime Institute, a leading authority dedicated to improving data center performance and efficiency through research, collaboration, innovation and education. Additionally, Mr. Brill Co-founded the Uninterruptable Uptime Users Group, now known as 7X24 Exchange International.

Described as brilliant, curious, independent and unyielding, Mr. Brill has worked extensively to promote data center uptime and IT energy efficiency. Brill was the originator of a number of data-center innovations, such as the industry’s widely-adopted tiered system for evaluating and classifying data center availability levels. Mr. Brill has also been recognized by the Uptime Institute Symposium and the British Computer Society.

The award will be presented by Robert J.
