Hurricane Electric Establishes Point of Presence in Minnesota with Neutral Path Communications

New PoP will connect Neutral Path’s customers with Hurricane Electric’s global IP network

ROCHESTER, Minn.–()–Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone announced today that it has established a Point-of-Presence (PoP) atNeutral Path Communications, a carrier-neutral wholesale broadband transport company in Rochester, Minnesota. The new PoP will provide reliable and cost-effective connectivity between Neutral Path’s Upper Midwest clients and Hurricane Electric’s vast IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

The new PoP, which marks Hurricane Electric’s second expansion in the past month, provides access to IPv6 and IPv4 systems and services using 10GE (10 gigabit Ethernet), GigE (1 gigabit Ethernet) and 100Base-T network connections.
