Hurricane Electric was recently featured in a TMCnet article about its recent PoP at Cologix’s Datacenter. From the article:

Hurricane Electric (News – Alert) has set up a point-of-presence or PoP at Cologix’s INFOMART data centre located in Dallas. The Standard Connections offering from Cologix will be advantageously used by the latest PoP, thereby allowing Hurricane Electric to extend its international network and will now be able to address the requirements from the latest set of network clients situated in Dallas, and have a presence in all the markets across the North American platform of Cologix.

Cologix has data centers located in Dallas, Minneapolis, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver where network operators can connect with network buyers in one of North America’s major neutral marketplaces offered by Cologix. A minimum of 300 network options are offered by Cologix, which can also administer thousands of interconnections. Cologix’s colocation and interconnection services are also used by a minimum of 550 customers for scaling their networks’ requirements in a speedy and affordable manner.

Reid Fishler, director of carrier services at Hurricane Electric said in a statement that, “We are continually growing our global network reach, and are pleased to take advantage of Cologix’s Standard Connections offering in Dallas. Leveraging Standard Connections allows us to offer our services directly to Cologix’s growing customers base without significant risk, which creates an important on-ramp for us, given the demand we expect to see from customers moving into their newly opened facility.
