Bluestone Energy Services recently completed a large project at Boston University, supporting the institution’s sustainability@BU initiative. From the article:
Norwell-based Bluestone Energy Services LLC has upgraded Boston University’s track and tennis facility to make the space more energy efficient.
The track and tennis center underwent an LED lighting and advanced controls retrofit, designed and installed by Bluestone. Bluestone replaced the existing 1000 watt- and 400 watt-metal halide fixtures with new GE Albeo LED fixtures and Daintree Wireless Advanced Controls. The lighting control system can schedule and dim the fixtures based on event schedules, occupancy and daylight harvesting. Different lighting control schemes can be saved and scheduled for the various events.
“This retrofit not only helps to lower BU’s environmental impact, but it stands as an example to current, visiting and future athletes who will train and compete in the Track and Tennis Center,” Sean Fuller, vice president of business development of Bluestone Energy, said in a statement.
