It’s been a shortened week, but despite having all the oxygen sucked out by the Verizon/Vodafone and MicroSoft/Nokia deals, plenty of other interesting things managed to happen:
Hurricane Electric has spent the summer adding nodes to its global network, and continued that push this week with another new one in Eastern Europe. They’ve established a network PoP for both IPv4 and IPv6 at Victor Hugo u. 18-22 in Budapest, Hungary. HE can’t keep up this expansion rate forever, but I imagine they’ve got a few left in the hopper.
