Revisiting Data Center Crisis Communications
Yesterday, we released the October edition of the Milldam Monthly. This month’s newsletter highlighted the importance of preparing for a crisis.
Facebook’s recent outage has renewed the industry’s attention to data center downtime and how outages are handled. Getting in front of a negative story while keeping the lines of communication open for all stakeholders, and ensuring that employees are not going rogue can help lessen the blow to corporate reputation and standing in the market. Check out Milldam’s Data Center Crisis Communications page for tips on creating a crisis plan. You can also visit Milldam’s most recent blog The Facebook Outage and Data Center Crisis Communications.
