Future Facilities, creator of CFD engineering simulation software, was this year recognized among CRN’s Top 100 Data Center companies, reports Mission Critical Magazine. From the article:
CRN Names Future Facilities To Data Center 100 List For 2017
Awarded as one of the top 20 data center management providers, company selected due to its proficiency with data center simulation and ability to ensure that data center operators can identify problems before they occur.
Future Facilities has announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named the firm to its 2017 Data Center 100 list.
CRN editors select companies for the Data Center 100 list on the basis of multiple criteria, including each company’s overall impact on the market, its influence on the channel as a whole, and the types of technology and services it makes available to its partners.
Named among only 20 other companies, Future Facilities is recognized in CRN’s “Data Center Management Provider” category. The award highlights Future Facilities’ data center simulation toolset, which enables data center owners and operators to predict the behavior of airflow and cooling, and create efficiency and resiliency solutions for new and existing facilities. This method of predictive analysis is made possible through the creation of a “virtual facility” backed by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) that mimics a physical environment.
“Future Facilities is excited to be the only data center simulation provider named to the 2017 Data Center 100 List,” said Sherman Ikemoto, general manager, Future Facilities North America. “Future Facilities’ suite of simulation tools provide data center operators with a comprehensive and precise view of their facility operations as well as the ability to assess potential risk through a virtual facility model. This enables owners and operators to see the results of changes to their infrastructure before deploying critical equipment.”
“The construction and operation of a reliable data center requires wide-ranging expertise and resources across a number of key technologies,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “Our annual Data Center 100 list identifies the top vendors in these areas, helping solution providers find proven data center experts such as Future Facilities, who can deliver the necessary depth and breadth of materials, services and expert guidance.”
