New York Colo Partners With Webair In Managed Cloud Services Pursuit
Webair and ColocationGuard have entered a partnership to give customers access to Webair’s suite of Managed Services.
ColocationGuard is a New York-based colocation provider and operator of Brooklyn’s only data centre. ColoGuard Enterprise Solutions operates over 60,000 square feet of colocation space in both Brooklyn and Northern New Jersey.
As part of the partnership, Webair, a cloud and fully managed infrastructure service provider, has launched a new Point of Presence (PoP) at the Brooklyn facility, CGNY1.
Customers at this site are now able to access Webair’s ecosystem of fully managed services via low latency, dedicated cross-connects without traversing the internet.
These include enterprise public and private clouds, disaster recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS), enhanced IP transit with built-in DDoS monitoring and mitigation, and cloud storage.
In addition, customers will get access to further services including Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS).
Webair has furthered its DRaaS which allow customers to instantly recover from Ransomware attacks or other disasters with RPOs and RTOs in seconds/minutes.
Customers can also replicate data to Webair’s Tier III, SSAE 16 and HIPAA-compliant data centres in New York (NY1), Los Angeles (LAX), Amsterdam (AMS) or Montreal (MTL).
Ray Sidler, president at ColocationGuard, said:
“ColocationGuard is excited to strengthen our longstanding relationship with Webair.
“With this new PoP, our customers will have even more options when looking to satisfy their public/private cloud and other managed service needs.”
Michael Orza, CEO of Webair, said:
“ColocationGuard has been a valued customer of Webair’s for more than ten years. Today, we are excited to further the partnership with the addition of a new PoP.
“Customers of ColocationGuard will now be able to directly tie into all of our fully managed Cloud and complementary managed service offerings.”
