Increased demand for energy efficiency in commercial and retail projects and availability of utility incentives spur the creation of new national account positions

A division of OpTerra Energy Group, Bluestone Energy is tasked with going beyond energy efficiency in order to create positive financial impact and more productive built environments. To further this goal as well as meet the growing demands of customers seeking engineered energy conservation retrofits across the country, OpTerra Energy has called upon Mr. Tuttelman and Mr. Fiedler to direct business development for national clients. Mr. Macomber will utilize his industry knowledge and engineering background to help support the national accounts team.
Mathew Tuttelman brings over twenty years of business development and more than a decade of Demand Side Management/OpEx reduction strategies to OpTerra’s Commercial and Industrial National Accounts Team. Mr. Tuttelman has a long history in the energy conservation industry, most recently as Enlighted’s Vice President of Sales for Eastern North America. He was also the Senior Business Development Manager at EnerNOC for seven years and a key contributor to the company’s sales and growth through its IPO in May of 2007.
With nearly twenty-five years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, Chad Fiedler has an eminent background in energy savings and utility incentive programs. Most recently a Partner at Enreco USA, Mr. Fiedler managed the energy conservation company, most notably its expansion from industrial facilities into a number of new verticals including; education, retail, food, commercial, athletic and aviation facilities. Prior to Enreco, Mr. Fiedler worked at Reebok for 19 years in a variety of management roles, the last eight of which as National and Regional Account Sales Manager. While at Reebok, he was responsible for driving corporate product marketing initiatives and $300m+ in sales from 13 Asia-Pacific countries.
Mark Macomber joins OpTerra Energy from supermarket giant Ahold USA (AUSA) and brings more than a decade of experience in the development and deployment of energy conservation and renewable energy initiatives for the supermarket retail industry. While at AUSA, Mr. Macomber successfully managed over 5,000 individual energy conservation projects and was instrumental in reducing the company’s electricity consumption by over 500 million kilowatt-hours (kWh), saving more than $50M in energy costs. Also responsible for AUSA’s renewable and clean energy efforts, Mr. Macomber successfully deployed more than eight Megawatts of solar and fuel cell projects across forty retail locations.
