ARLINGTON, Texas, and NEW YORK — Bluestone Energy Services LLC, a provider of energy conservation engineering and project development services for a variety of sectors including commercial and retail, announced that it is opening a new office in Arlington, Texas, and adding two energy services executives in New York: Sharon Rowe and John Giattino.
Bluestone said the new Texas office will meet the growing demand for engineered energy conservation retrofits as well as accommodate the growth of energy efficiency programs and incentives in the Western market. The Texas office will be managed by Tim Hirschenhofer, Bluestone’s director of data center energy engineering. The Dallas-Fort Worth office is located at 3901 Arlington Highlands Boulevard, Suite 200, Arlington, TX 76018.
Appointed business development manager for the New York region, Sharon Rowe brings more than six years of experience in energy efficiency programs and utilities to her role at Bluestone. Throughout her career, Rowe has specialized in refrigeration and LED retrofit measures. Prior to joining Bluestone, she held the position of energy efficiency specialist, where she focused on efficiency programs in western and central New York for National Grid, NYSEG/RG&E, and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). She will be based in Bluestone’s Williamsville, New York, office.
An energy efficiency executive with nearly 30 years in the market, John Giattino has worked for lighting, controls, and cogeneration equipment manufacturers as well as in design-build project development. He is joining Bluestone as manager of mechanical energy engineering for the Tri-State region. Prior to joining Bluestone, Giattino managed and administered over $90 million in utility sponsored energy efficiency programs specifically targeted at hospitals, warehouses, and affordable housing. In addition, he has performed energy evaluations and developed projects for companies such as General Motors, Marcel Paper, and Scott Tissue. He will be based in Bluestone’s Manhattan office.
“The dual expansion of increased personnel in New York and a new office location in Texas marks exciting growth for Bluestone,” said Sean Fuller, vice president of business development and marketing with Bluestone. “We look forward to leveraging the expertise of Sharon and John in helping to provide exceptional services for our clients as we continue to expand across the nation.”
