Bluestone Energy Services LLC, a division of OpTerra Energy Group providing professional engineering and project development services for utilities, retail and corporate clients, will open a new office location in Arlington.
The new office, located at 3901 Arlington Highlands Blvd., will be managed by Tim Hirschenhofer, Bluestone’s director of data center energy engineering.
The expansion into the Dallas-Fort Worth area is expected to accommodate the growth of energy efficiency programs and incentives in the Western market.
Headquartered in Norwell, Mass., Bluestone Energy Services is a leader in demand-side management (DSM) programs for large commercial and industrial organizations. Bluestone has secured millions of dollars in utility incentives for its clients by developing and implementing hundreds of HVAC, lighting and process energy-conservation projects. Bluestone has worked with companies including American Airlines, Biogen Idec, Genesis Management Group and Stop & Shop Supermarket Company.
