Hurricane Electric opens PoP in France
US- based Internet Backbone and Colocation Provider Hurricane Electric has opened an additional Point of Presence (PoP) in France, at SFR Netcenter in Marseille.
The PoP continues Hurricane Electric’s European expansion and will give its customers in Southern France greater bandwidth and reduced latency through 100BaseT, 1GbE, 1Gbps and 100GbE service.
Hurricane Electric said customers of the SFR Netcenter will benefit from improved fault tolerance, load balancing and congestion management infrastructure capability for the delivery of both IPv4 and IPv6 access services and they will also have the opportunity to exchanged traffic with Hurricane Elecetric’s global network.
