Global Capacity has built out a new hub for its One Marketplace offering. They’ve expanded into Seattle with a PoP at Equinix’s SE2 data center at 2020 5th Ave. That gives them access to the Pacific Northwest and a gateway to endpoints in Asia via the submarine cables landing nearby.
Hurricane Electric continued to add global breadth to its international backbone this week with a new connection up north. They’ve connected to the Winnipeg Internet Exchange for both IPv4 and IPv6 traffic, reaching into central Canada — a bandwidth destination that few US network operators have on their radar.
Telx added an Ethernet service provider to its ecosystem down in Atlanta. Seattle-based Wolfe is putting in a PoP within its data center at 56 Marietta, expanding its reach in the southeastern part of the country. Wolfe has been boosting its national presence this year, adding nodes in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco in the last two quarters.
