BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–OpTerra Energy Services (OpTerra), a division of the global energy services corporation ENGIE, that works with commercial and public sector organizations including school districts, cities and counties to implement comprehensive sustainability programs, announced today that its Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Division will be participating at the 2017 National Grid Energy Efficiency Summit as a Visionary Sponsor. The Summit will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Gillette Stadium: 1 Patriot Place, Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Representatives from OpTerra will be on hand at booth 19 to highlight energy efficiency measures recently implemented by the firm that have yielded significant electricity and gas savings, substantial utility rebates, and attractive ROIs. The discussion will include case studies from comprehensive energy conservation projects that have generated impressive results for a variety of private sector customers.

Since January 2016, OpTerra’s C&I Division has worked with a variety of clients to install nearly 230,000 LED fixtures. These installations will provide over 131 million kWh in electricity savings. Over this same period, the C&I Division has also secured nearly $20 million in utility incentives for its customers.

The 2017 National Grid Summit will feature a number of energy conservation and efficiency sessions, including: discussions on clean heating and cooling technologies, how to achieve zero net energy in new buildings, driving efficiency through benchmarking, and financing energy efficiency projects. The event will also be addressed by two keynote speakers. Emily Reichert, Ph.D., Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Greentown Labs—the largest clean technology startup incubator in the United States—will give the morning keynote. Gina McCarty, EPA Administrator for the Obama administration, will give the afternoon address.
