ColocationGuard recently announced that its partnership with Webair allows its customers access to Webair’s managed services. From the article:

ColocationGuard Partners with Webair to Give Its Customers Access to Webair’s Suite of Managed Services

ColocationGuard, a New York colocation provider operating a data center Brooklyn, is now partnering with Webair, a “high-touch, agile cloud and fully managed infrastructure service provider,” to give its customers access to Webair’s suite of Managed Services.

As a part of this partnership, Webair has launched a new Point of Presence (PoP) in ColocationGuard’s Brooklyn data center, CGNY1. Customers at this site are now able to access Webair’s ecosystem of fully managed services via “low latency,” dedicated cross-connects without traversing the Internet. These services include:

  • Enterprise Public and Private Clouds
  • Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS)
  • Enhanced IP Transit with Built-In DDoS Monitoring & Mitigation
  • Cloud Storage
  • Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS)

Customers can also replicate data to Webair’s Tier III, SSAE 16 and HIPAA-compliant data centers in New York (NY1), Los Angeles (LAX), Amsterdam (AMS) or Montreal (MTL).
