RF Code, an Austin company that makes software for IoT data centers, hired Peter Vancorenland as its chief technology officer. Vancoreland was previously the vice president of IoT engineering at Austin-based Silicon Labs.

BuildASign.com made Dom Granato its new senior director of customer experience, the ABJ reports. His online profile shows prior experience at Kimba and Rackspace.

BigCommerce, the Austin-based e-commerce software company, appointed Brian Dhatt as its first-ever chief technology officer. Dhatt is coming from Borderfree, another e-commerce company, which was acquired by Pitney Bowes. He has also served as vice president of engineering and product for Jetsetter and Gilt City. BigCommerce also appointed Tod Klubnik as senior vice president of global sales. He is the former senior vice president of sales and business development at PeopleAdmin.

Convey, the delivery logistics software company, appointed Matt Howitt as its new vice president of product. Howitt is the former senior vice president of product at Austin-based RetailMeNot. His resume also includes stints at IBM and Lombardi Software.

ShipStation appointed Jud Harris as its new director of product engineering. Harris, according to his online profile, has worked as a CTO at Amplifier and is a co-founder of Polygrok. The company also appointed Tom Warmbrodt as its CTO. His profile shows he is the former chief architect and VP of data engineering at Austin-based Civitas Learning.
