Technology Convergence Conference 2014

FREMONT, Calif.–()–TELADATA, a leading consulting firm with vast expertise in design, planning and project management for converging technologies, announced today that its 2014 Technology Convergence Conference (TCC) will celebrate its 6th annual event, next Tuesday with an audiovisual focused closing keynote panel discussion, in addition to three unique, end-user speaking tracks and opening keynote presentation.

“The TCC provides a forum to collaborate and identify ways to converge on all sides – IT, facilities, finance and sustainability”

The February 18 TCC will partner with InfoComm International, an Audiovisual (AV) Association event aimed at educating, certifying and training professionals in the communications industry, to host a closing keynote panel discussion titled From Board Room to Beyond: Using Technology to Create Exceptional Experiences in Your Facility, focusing on audiovisual experiences that provide the communication necessary for collaboration in facilities today. Moderator Dave Labuskes, CEO of InfoComm International, will be joined by panelists Alain Durocher, CTS Multimedia Program Strategist at the University of Southern California, and Andrew Milne, Ph.D. and CEO of Tidebreak, Inc.

The conference will kick-off the day with an opening keynote presentation from Krish Sivakumar of Cisco Systems, titled Seeing the Unseen, which will provide insight into the hidden frontier of the Internet and the cultural roles necessary for advancing into the future.

All three tracks at the conference (Emerging Technologies, Trending Industry Topics, and Data Center Case Studies) will feature a variety of presentations, case studies and panel discussions from end-user participants at leading industry firms.

“The TCC provides a forum to collaborate and identify ways to converge on all sides – IT, facilities, finance and sustainability,” said 2014 TCC speaker, Troy Tazbaz of Oracle. “Additionally, the TCC gives participants ways to bring an efficiency mind set to the design and operation of data centers and facilities.”

TELADATA’s Technology Convergence Conference focuses on providing an environment where IT, facilities and telecommunications professionals can assemble to exchange ideas and best practices relating to the latest technologies in data centers, IT infrastructure, audiovisual and monitoring systems. Expert speakers and resources offer delegates critical information and in-the-trenches tactics to deal effectively with key issues affecting facilities and data centers.
