Data Center World was trending in more ways than one during the busy conference last week. One exciting new component was the Instagram Challenge, which encouraged attendees and exhibitors to visually capture their DCW experience on the social media platform, tracking each entry with the hashtag: #DataCenterWorldF13. A variety of users contributed their photos, covering everything from a cardboard cutout of Tom Roberts (President of AFCOM) to a company product (Purkay Labs’ data center temperature monitor, the Audit-Buddy) riding down the escalator on its way to the exhibition hall.
The winners were determined by four different categories (Product, Rep, Booth, and Activity) and awarded a cash prize, and two of the winners were the aforementioned Purkay Labs (Aheli Purkayastha), as well as Milldam Public Relations (Caroline Haley). We were excited to be selected as a winner, and especially thrilled to share the spotlight alongside one of our clients.
