Increased Interest in Energy Conservation and Utility Incentives Fuels Bluestone’s Growth

CHICAGO, IL and NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwire – Nov 28, 2012) – Norwell, Massachusetts-based Bluestone Energy Services, LLC, a division of OpTerra Energy and a leader in energy conservation engineering and project development services for industrial and commercial clients, announced today it has opened a New York City office to meet the growing demand for its energy conservation services and industrial retrofits.

The new office will help meet the demands of customers seeking engineered energy-conservation retrofits of industrial buildings and retail spaces. The office will also support Bluestone Energy’s data center efficiency practice — one of its fastest-growing divisions.

Jeff Hecht, who most recently served as a regional sales manager for Vigilent, has been named Business Development Manager of the Tri-State Area and will manage the Manhattan office. Mr. Hecht will be responsible for growing Bluestone’s industrial efficiency practice, expanding the division into new geographic regions, helping customers navigate complex utility-incentive processes, and developing new partnerships with vendors.
